Spelling Tutoring

Spelling is the ability to arrange letters in the correct order to make words that are collectively understood. Accurate spelling is important for a child to get through their schooling years. Learning to spell helps a child to develop a strong connection between the letters and their sounds and learning high frequency words will assist a child in both writing and reading.

What are the components that develop spelling?

  • Understanding spelling rules:

It is very important to memorize and understand spelling rules. By knowing these rules, the child will have greater success when writing a word. There are other words that will be memorized by repetition, often without and understanding of the reasoning or relationships involved in the material that is learned.

  • Sight Words

Sight words are common words that kids recognize instantly without sounding them out. Recognizing words by sight helps become faster, more fluent readers.

If you want your child to reach his/her academic goals, you are at the right place.  Just chose a spelling class that best fits the client’s schedule. Dyslexia Institutes – El Paso.
